Disneyland!

We went to Disneyland on October 14th and 16th. K and I drove the kids out and we had a blast. The ride over was not so bad but the ride back was a little more hectic. We had all 6 kids in the Expedition, 2 strollers and a suitcase on top. Good memories!!! We took everyone on Tuesday the 14th and then Klor and I took Bubbs and Kiki and the babies on Thursday. We had a great time and found a yummy restaraunt in New Orleans Square! They had this sandwhich called the Monte Cristo- um yummy!!! And the fries were great too. We'll be going there again for sure!!

The Zoo...

October 18th- We decided to try a family outing at the Zoo. It was a warm day but we still had a great time. The kids enjoyed looking at all the animals and they even had a little water pad in there to cool us off a bit. We even got to ride a choo choo train around the park at the end of the day for a tour. Boy Scout and Bubbs made fast friends of the people behind us and promptly stole their popcorn while at it. Good thing they were cute and the people didn't mind. :) I think the highlight of the day for Bubbs was riding the Carousel at the end. He was standing in line and could not wait to hand over his money. He was ready to give it to anyone who would take it. :)

Little Miss E has the Sthnuffles...

Miss E somehow got the sthnuffles and she's having a hard time sleeping at night- poor girl- and poor mama!

Sunday, 10/5/08- Kar Sue was all smiles and giggles during General Conference. Couldn't help but snap these precious shots of her...she's such a happy, sweet baby.

Superheros...

B, K and the girls came over for Ebilskibers and to watch the second session of General Conference. When we opened the door we found CatWoman and WonderWoman at our door! Aren't they cute?

A few new outfits and bows...

I recently discovered that I have TONS of shortsleeved/summertime 3-6 month clothes. We went to K's last week and she taught me how to make bows as well as made me some herself. I just brought the outfits and we matched ribbon to each outfit. It was a lot of fun. Thank you, Klor! We were practically trying to wear 2 outfits per day so we can get good use out of them. New Sunday Dress...

After Women's Conference on Saturday night, Klor and I got to do a little shopping while the guys had a "man-cation" at our house (with the other 4 kids). They made steaks and watched "Superman". We, on the other hand, got to make a run to Michaels and Target. I forgot how easy it is to shop with just one child. It was great! Anyhow, we went to Target and I found this adorable dress there that I could not resist. I went home to find that Klor had already made me a bow that happened to match- even before Miss E was born! She was pretty stylin on Sunday at church. We still get comments on her poodle diaper bag too that daddy refuses to touch. :)

Just another day in Paradise...

Here's what we've been up to the last week or so....

9/28/08- I ordered a box of peaches from a lady in our ward. After a long phone call with mom, I attempted to can the peaches on Sunday so daddy could take care of the kids while I tried this new adventure. Let's just say that daddy ended up helping me and the kids ran wild. This is tough work and it takes a lot of planning and preparation beforehand! Don't know if I'll be doing this again anytime soon! It was fun though and I'm very proud of my peaches!

Big brother loves to kiss his sister. Boy Scout is actually very sweet with her. I thought we'd have a rough time with him and a new baby but he's very good to her. He loves her!

Oh delight! We were putting Miss E to bed on Sunday nite and just while entering her room I felt my foot touch something on the carpet. I look down to see THIS! AHHHHHHH!!! It's an Arizona Bark Scorpion- the second one we've found in our house. And both were in Mis E's room. I could hardly sleep that night!
