Kiki's 4th Birthday Party...

Kiki had a birthday teaparty on Friday the 7th of November. She was such a princess and so happy to have her friends there. You couldn't buy the happiness she had spread all over her face throughout the party! And Bubbs...in a bowtie no less and feeling very out of place amongst all these dancing girly-girls! Priceless pictures and memories for sure. He spent most of the time either on the sidelines with his hands in his pockets or sitting at the table eating the M&M's. :) I was proud of him- looking like such a little man. And to be honest with you, I'm so glad he wasn't wanting to join in with all the girls and do girly stuff. I would be worried if he was! Boy Scout- well, it was naptime and frankly, I didn't want to deal with him at a tea-party. So he went to bed, end of story for Scout. You can see how he felt about the bowtie in the picture below.
The party started with the girls dancing around to princess music in the living room. I tried to encourage Bubbs to ask the ladies to dance but oh no- he would have none of it! :) K made pb&j sandwhiches and cut them into a flower shape with a cookie cutter- they were so cute- and good too. Something about them being in the shape of a flower made them taste even better. The tea was rainbow sherbet with sprite which was also delicious- yes, I was taste testing things in the back to make sure they were okay for the kids to eat!

All boy- sitting on the sidelines eating while the girls dance.

Isn't Kiki beautiful?

Oh I wish we could have captured the smile she had on her face when she opened up her Belle dress from Gigi! It was priceless! She was elated!

"Real makeups!" as she kept calling them.

Playing "pin the handle on the teapot".

Playing "Princess Bingo". Bubbs didn't mind the M&M's.

Putting on LOTS of "real makeups!"

Kardee Shoo was exhausted from all the partying!

And don't you love the dishwasher after the teaparty?

Bubba looks like such a little gentleman. I'm glad you're able to be near family to do parties like that.
